I always love a weekend in the city. It makes me feel closer to home since I grew up near so many cities. This past weekend, J and I went up with two friends. We hit the bars and explored the night life. There was a perfect; gorgeous 80 degrees, so we had no reason to be inside all weekend!
Sunday, we woke up to some chilly weather, which was amaaaazing! This New England girl is looking forward to the chilly fall weather. Call me crazy, but it’s true. I caved and asked J to get me my first pumpkin spiced latte, of the season. Delish! Not to mention, I took the most basic picture, ever (face in hands).
There is a bike rental place in the city, called, Spokies . How it works is, you go to the website, click “find bike.” It’ll show you all the locations where there are bikes available. Once you find the location that is closest to you, click the pin points on the map, and it will tell you how many bikes are available at that location. There is a parking lot right at each bike rental location, so once you find where there are available bikes, you can go on ahead and park your car. If you click here , you’ll find directions on how to rent out the bike.
It was a lot of fun and super easy to get around the city, with. We rode around Bricktown, down the path around the river. If you don’t know the city, I’d recommend a map or finding some bike riding trails!
